And it’s a gorgeous romance between Remy and Asher, two lonely young people that are two pieces in the same cosmic balancing act–they’re designed for each other, in a way that never seems cheesy or fake, only deep and soulful.
That added a sense of reality for me that really added to my overall enjoyment of the novel. This book was fantastic start to finish, I read it all in one day and I was gripped by the story, the characters, the issues of abuse and the beautiful, but at times hard to read, journey of having gone through hell and coming out a better person.
Remy is disliked by Asher’s sister whose name I can’t remember Twilight: All in all, this book was A. But Ben refuses to take no for an answer and Remy moves from Brooklyn to Blackwell Falls, a small town on the coast of Maine. Then it let up, allowing the reader to stand up, brush off our shoulder, and step into a whole new world.
Touched completely blew me away and totally exceeded my expectations!!
Her mother refuses to leave him and when her step-father goes a little too far; Remy is sent to live with father. Then she meets this guy named Asher, that you can tell from the first time that they meet and touchthat his energy is different.
Overlooking that, I found this book very original and interesting. They are so cute! Asher and his family killed healers but by accident thus they are bound to live for eternity. Touched was unputdownable story of a girl who can mend others wounds, making them of her own.

I want more Gabe and I want it now. Wow, Remy and Gabe. I also liked how the initial relationship between Remy and Asher developed and would have given this book a higher rating it continued to develop at a more natural pace instead of suddenly becoming an epic love melodrama.
Yes, but not only that. So the next book is totally on my reading list. I think I love this series. Remy and Asher meet and Sparks happened like literally ugh!! Only because by the time I finished, I just felt like this novel was about how to survive.
The best part about this book is the plot. Pushed wasn’t a poorly written book. There’s just something about him, now that I know there is so much more than meets the eye. So did Remy and Asher. Edward is also immortal being a vampire Touched: That grandfather is psycho. What’s the Name o It took such a rowdy turn that I sat, eyes wide, blinking with disbelief when there were no more pages left for me to turn in the book!

I love to imagine worlds within my own existence and this book sparked that in me. I would have liked a little more on jacckson Remy has this power to heal, and how.

Sep 30, Jessica rated it it was amazing Shelves: I liked the storyline, even though I could see how it might have been compared to twilight immortal boy, fast car, living with father, bad guy out to get her etc. If she goes too far she can experience severe hypothermia and extreme pain that makes it seem as if she herself will die.
I don’t like it when characters fall in love with other characters that they have no business falling in love with. She really did endure more than anyone should ever have to endure, and was forced to hurt people she loved just to keep them safe. Remy is a character I would like spend more time with. You might think this book is about paranormalcy–and you’d be forgiven. Typically in any triangle situation, I pick a guy and stick with him.
Finally finding a happy home life with Ben, she meets the devastatingly handsome, wealthy and mysterious Asher.
