The secondary characters were also great and the event that happens with Kate was really shocking!! It kept hendrson turning pages and trying to figure things out too.

The author merely mentions Stephen’s soul searching as he travels the country after the death rescher his sister. I reached the end of the O’Malley series, and Steven’s story is one of the more interesting of the six books because he gets the ultimate “Christian-y” message – death and its meaning.

Plot twists; suspense; human characters; emotion; pain; joy; relationships I thought Meghan not allowing there relationship to progress further until he became a Christian was good and also very wise! He needs to get away from Chicago and find peace. There’s big international crime, as well as lots of small town goings on. This is a well crafted mystery.

He can’t deal with the grief and memories so he runs. The romance was kept clean, sweet, and more of a side topic.

hendreson There is so much more to the story. It took me a while to realise, that possibly one of the reasons why the same names seem to come up in each book on different characters, is maybe not laziness or the author’s deep love for the certain names, but maybe the fact that pretty much every name in her stories can be found from the Bible.

His new love interest has such a back story with the family, I keep asking myself why was she not in previous books. Jun 26, Valerie rated it it was amazing. The Rescuer is a sweet ending to the O’Malley family story.
