She was insensitive to Camelia’s feelings and only really thought of herself, it was always her her her. The characters are easy to relate to-teenagers who are occasionally misunderstood by their peers or parents, who sometimes are not sure who to trust or turn to.

Last fall, sixteen-year-old Camelia fell for Ben, a new boy at school who had a very mysterious gift — psychometry, the ability to sense the future through touch. What was there flowed quickly and the whole book was read in a few hours so that was one good thing. The tension between the two is well written. And, while I loved the attraction between Ben and Camelia, and I was rooting for them throughout, hoping he was the good guy, I didn’t want it to be the definition of what kept this story going.

What about the new guy Adam? There’s nothing about Camelia that really makes me want to like her all that much. The truth always comes out!! Deadly Little Lies felt too short to me because there is so much that can happen and that’s a good thing. Stolarz was once again able to make the stalker aspect of the story incredibly creepy, while countering it with Camelia’s and Ben’s complicated and sizzling relationship.

I had a feeling the way he acted was the same way the person on the 2nd point of view was thinking. It’s mysterious and full of awesomness. Wes has hired himself a college girl to posse as his girlfriend to try and get his father off of his back about his ‘non-to-stellar’ manly skills. Deadly Little Lies is a story in a series, so I have high hopes that most of my worries are unwarranted. I think, if I’d known this book was going to be a stalker book, I probably wouldn’t have picked it up.
